3.30.2008 Box 49-32 Building Fire ______________________________________________________________________ Tanker 42 was called out as part of a water shuttle for the previously listed fire on Route 563 in Nockamixon Township. 2 Personnel Responded including Battalion Chief 42. Tanker 40, Tanker 47, Tanker 48, Hunterdon County 92-71, Engine 47 and Engine 47-1 also responded. Rescue 42 arrived on scene, driven by Captain 42. Engine 42 and Tanker 42 returned to service and availability around 7:45 am.

3.30.2008 Box 49-32 Building Fire _____________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 2:59 am to a tactical box in Nockamixon Township. Reports were coming in from as far as two miles away that an explosion had been heard and felt in the area. 4 Personnel responded including Chief 42 and Lieutenants 42 and 42-1. Ladder 49, Tanker 49, Tanker 63, Engine 49, and Engine 63 were on the assignment. Approaching Palisades High School along Church Road, a black header could be seen against the night sky with the smoke curling in on itself. Upon arrival on scene, the building was fully involved and the roof had collapsed. Every building in the strip mall, including NAPA Auto Supply was involved. Master streams and hand lines were put into service in an exterior attack. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.29.2008 Box 49-32 Motor Home Fire ______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was redirected to Route 412 near 563, to a motor home fire. 12 personnel responded including Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42 and Battalion Chief 42. Special Service 42 also dispatched. Station 49 received the primary call for this box and arrived shortly after Engine 42 went on scene. The motor home was fully involved upon arrival. Two hand lines were put into service--one for exterior attack and the other for interior. Horizontal ventilation commenced and the fire was brought under control. Overhaul revealed flames on the interior and a second attack followed. The incident was cleared 2.5 hours later.

3.29.2008 Box 42-22 Truck Fire ______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched to a truck fire in Durham Township near Limekiln Lane. 12 personnel responded. Chief 42 arrived on location and determined the report was inaccurate. Moments later the call was re-dispatched as Box 49-32. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.26.2008 Station 28 Cover Station 28 ______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was called out to cover for Station 28 in William's Township as they were called out to a brush fire and then a business fire. 5 Personnel responded, including Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42 and Battalion Chief 42. The Engine was cleared and returned to Riegelsville about 90 mins later. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.23.2008 Box 42-23 Accident Standby ______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 and Rescue 42 were dispatched with 9 personnel, including Chief 42 and Battalion Chief 42, to the scene of a vehicular accident at the intersection of Durham Nox and Gallows Hill Roads in Durham Township. M 142 and M 141 also responded. Traffic control was established and the engine stood by until the scene was cleared. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.17.2008 Box 49-18 Dwelling Fire ______________________________________________________________________ Tanker 42 was called to share in water shuttle for a dwelling fire on Geigel Hill Road in Ottsville. 2 Personnel responded. Water shuttle continued until the incident was cleared about 6 hours later. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.17.2008 Box 49-18 Dwelling Fire ______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was called to a tactical box at a dwelling on Geigel Hill Road in Ottsville. 5 Personnel responded including Battalion Chief 42 who set up water supply, Chief 42, and Deputy Chief 42. The initial call reported the dwelling totally engulfed in flames. Enroute, Lieutenant 42 contacted Tinicum Command and was instructed to set up water supply. Engine 42 set up water supply at a local pond and began to draft in order to supply a tanker task force including Tanker 92, Tanker 49, Tanker 47, Tanker 24, and Tanker 41, Tanker 63 and Tanker 42. 6 Hours later the engine returned to service.

3.9.2008 Box 42-22 Medical Rescue _____________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 and Engine 42, along with Station 49, and Medics 142 and 141, were called to respond to a victim of electrocution near Lehnenburg Road and Route 611. 12 personnel responded, including Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42, & Battalion Chief 42. First aid was administered, the helicopter was landed, and the patient airlifted before the incident was cleared. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.9.2008 Box 42-32 Wires _____________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was called to Kintner Hill Road and Route 611 after a tree came down on the power lines following high winds. 5 Personnel responded, including Chief 42 and Battalion Chief 42. Upon arrival, the utilities crew were on scene. 3.8.2008 Box 49-35 Engine Assist _____________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was called to assist Station 49 with a motor vehicle accident on Route 611 in Ferndale--to provide manpower. 7 Personnel responded. The Engine was recalled enroute. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.8.2008 Box 49-35 Rescue Assist _____________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 was called to assist Station 49 with a motor vehicle accident on Route 611 in Ferndale--to provide manpower. 4 Personnel responded. 3.4.2008 Box 42-32 Medical Air Evac _____________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was called to set up a landing zone for the PennStar MedEvac to airlift a construction accident victim with head trauma. The LZ was set up at Alexander and Ealer Hill Roads in Nockamixon Township. 4 Personnel responded and assisted in landing the MedEvac and loading the patient for transport. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.2.2008 Morgan Hill Road Dwelling Fire _____________________________________________________________________ Tanker 42 was called to assist at a dwelling fire on Morgan Hill Road in Williams Township, Northampton County, along with Station 28. 14 Personnel responded and Engine 42 responded as well, along with Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42, and Battalion Chief 42. Station 42's personnel responded to the manpower pool as the home was ventilated from the roof and primary search and rescue was accomplished. Captain 42, Lieutenants 42 and 42-1 and firefighter Shaffer went interior to complete secondary search and overhaul on the second floor. Lieutenant 42 (Mesco) rescued the family's gerbil from the smoke filled interior. The incident was deemed under control and cleared around 4:50 pm.

3.2.2008 Box 49-32 Dwelling Fire _____________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was called to assist Engine 49, Ladder 49, Tanker 49 and Engine 63 at a dwelling on West Park Drive in Nockamixon Township. The crews were responding to a report of fire in the walls and a burning smell. Tanker 42 stood on Standby. 6 Personnel responded. It was determined that the problem was a malfunction in the heating system of the home.
