2.23.2008 Box 40-29 Outbuilding Fire

Engine 42, Tanker 40, and Engine 40 were called to a 10' x 10'
outbuilding fire with one exposure at 5:26 pm. 8 personnel
responded.

2.21.2008 Box 42-23 Special Assignment

Engine 42 was called out on special assignment to a home on
Kintner Road in Durham Township to assist with a cardiac
patient transport. 8 Personnel responded to the incident.
Patient was prepped and transported to the ambulance and the
engine returned to service.

2.19.2008 Box 42-11 Fumes Investigation

Engine 42 and Engine 42-1 were dispatched to Delaware Road
and Wayside Way in the borough to investigate a natural gas
smell in the area. 14 Personnel responded along with Deputy
Chief 42 and Battalion Chief 42. Personnel investigated
properties and propane tanks along the north and south sides
of Delaware Road. In about 30 minutes, the incident was
cleared and the engines were made available.

2.19.2008 Box 42-20 Accident Standby

Rescue 42 was called to accident standby on Route 212 near
Red Bridge Road at 6:45 am. A pickup truck heading eastbound
slid on the black ice and hit a mailbox before turning on its
side. The driver reported no injuries. Traffic Control and
Hazmat cleanup were performed and the scene cleared at 7:41
am. 7 Personnel responded and logged 7 man hours.

2.14.2008 Box 47-32 Dwelling FIre

Engine 42 was first on scene to a dwelling fire on Center Hill
Road in Nockamixon Township. The alarm went out at 3:45 pm
with a report of light smoke showing. Battalion Chief 42 and
Deputy Chief 47 arrived for the initial size up, while Tanker 47,
Tanker 42, Engine 47, Engine 49, Engine 48, Hunterdon County
92-61, and later, after a second alarm, Engine 42-1, Engine 63,
and Ladder 49 responded.
Lieutenant Hoagland (42-3) and Firefighter Wargo forced entry
into the two story, unoccupied dwelling and along with
Lieutenant Brady (42-1) began an interior attack to find the seat
of the fire. Several minutes later, personnel from Station 49
joined them in the interior. A heated, spongy, and sloping
floor and heavy smoke condition caused the interior crews to
evacuate the building as ventilation and an exterior attack
commenced.
Minutes after the crews went exterior the first floor collapsed
into the basement. Exterior attack continued until the fire
seemed to be knocked down.
13 Station 42 personnel responded to the incident, including
Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42, Captain 42,
Lieutenants 42, 42-1, and 42-3, and Safety Officer 42. 39 man
hours were accumulated on the assignment.

2.4.2008 Box 42-23 Fire Alarm

Engine 42 was called to a home along Kintner Road in Durham
Township for an alarm system. A false alarm was determined
and the call was cleared.
