12.31.2008 Local Box 42-23 Alarm System

Engine 42 dispatched to a residence along Kintner Road for
an alarm system. Battalion Chief 42, on scene, reported a
faulty alarm detector and recalled the assignment.

12.28.2008 Tactical Box 42-24 Chimney Fire
______________________________________________________________________________
Engine 42 and Tanker 42 dispatched along with Quint 40 to a
residence along Route 611 south of the borough for a
chimney fire. Chief 42, on scene, reported a working
chimney fire. Engine 42 arrived on scene and went into
service on the first floor and threw a ladder to the chimney.
Quint 40 arrived and assisted the engine company. The fire
was under control in 15 minutes. 18 personnel responded
including Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42 and
Lieutenants 42, 42-3, and 42-4.

12.25.2008 Box 42-11 Alarm System

The Company was dispatched to a residence on Delaware
Road in the borough for an alarm system. Chief 42 arrived on
scene first and determined that the alarm was caused by
careless cooking. The incident was cleared and the
company went available.

12.20.2008 Local Box 42-24 Auto Accident

Rescue 42 dispatched with Medic 142 for an auto wreck.
Rescue 42 went on scene with a one vehicle rollover.
Patient was out of the vehicle. Engine 42 and Rescue 42
went into service to secure the hazards and attend to patient
care until Medic truck arrived.

12.16.2008 Box 42-33 Dwelling Fire

Engine 42 and Tanker 42 were dispatched along with Ladder
49, Engine 47 and Engine 47-1, to a residence on Kintner Hill
Road in Bridgeton Township for a chimney fire. 7 personnel
responded including Deputy Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42, and
Lieutenants 42-1 and 42-3. A handline and hand tools were
put into service to contain and extinguish the fire. The
apparatus and personnel cleared at 5:55 pm.

12.13.2008 Box 49-35 Dwelling Fire

Engine 42 was dispatched to respond to a wood stove fire at
a residence on Nockamixon Road in Nockamixon Township.
9 Personnel responded including Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42,
Captain 42, Lieutenants 42, 42-1, and 42-3.

12.11.2008 Box 42-10 Assist the Squad

Engine 42 was dispatched at approximately 5:45 am to a
home on Fairview Road in the borough to assist the squad
with Medical Transport. 7 Personnel responded. The
incident cleared around 6:15 am.

12.9.2008 Box 42-11 Brush Fire

Engine 42 was dispatched at approximately 10:30 pm to
Sycamore Road and Route 611 in the Borough to Extinguish a
brush fire. TAC 42 also responded. 19 Personnel responded
including Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42,
Captain 42, and Lieutenants 42, 42-1, 42-3, 42-4. The fire
was extinguished and the apparatus went available at
approximately 11 pm.

12.9.2008 Box 42-31 Motor Vehicle Accident

Rescue 42 was dispatched at 5:40 am to Route 611 south of
the borough for a one vehicle motor accident. 6 Personnel
responded including Deputy Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42,
Captain 42 and Lieutenants 42 and 42-1. The crew went into
service to secure the vehicle and clean up the scene. The
incident cleared at 6:50 am.
