4.24.2008 Box 63-08 Standby _______________________________________________________________________ Tanker 42 was called to standby for a brush fire in Haycock Township near Harrisburg and School Roads. 2 Personnel responded. The incident was cleared a short time later. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.23.2008 Box 42-11 Investigation _______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 2:21 pm to investigate a possible fire in the vicinity of the Riverstone Tavern in Riegelsville borough. 4 Personnel responded including Lieutenant 42-1. It appeared that someone may have been burning garbage but no fire could be located. 4.20.2008 Box 49-32 Vehicle Fire _______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 and Tanker 42 were dispatched at 11: 30 am to a Vehicle Fire in Nockamixon Township that was upgraded to a dwelling fire. 11 Personnel responded, including Chief 42, Deputy Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42, and Lieutenants 42 and 42-3. The apparatus were recalled prior to arrival on scene. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.19.2008 Box 40-31 Station 40 Cover _______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched to cover Springtown Station 40 while they were dispatched to a brush fire. 14 personnel were present, including Deputy Chief 42, Chief 42, Battalion Chief 42, Lieutenants 42, 42-1, 42-3, and 42-4. Station 42 was involved in on-site training at their company and so the engine remained on site. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.15.2008 Milford, NJ Brush Fire _______________________________________________________________________ At 2:28 pm, Tactical 42 and Tanker 42 were dispatched to a brush fire on the Riegelsville Milford Road in Holland Township, NJ, along with apparatus from Milford, Holland Township, and Alpha, NJ. 7 Personnel responded and 5 staged at the Generator Plant in Milford, NJ, including Lieutenant 42-1. Special Service 42 responded in lieu of Tanker 42. The fire was brought under control by apparatus from Milford Station 92. All apparatus in the staging area were released. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.13.2008 Box 41-44 Building Fire _______________________________________________________________________ Tanker 42 was dispatched at 11:08 am to assist with water supply at a building fire at the Trading Post in Point Pleasant. Hunterdon County 11-61, Engine 19, Rescue 19, Tanker 34, and Hunterdon County 92-71 also responded. The tanker returned at 2:30 pm. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.10.2008 Box 42-22 Accident Standby _______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 responded to a one car motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Rattlesnake Road and Route 212 in Durham Township. 4 Personnel responded on the apparatus, 3 responded with Special Service 42 for traffic control, including Battalion Chief 42. The driver of the vehicle had no injuries but needed medical attention, and the Hybrid vehicle was moderately damaged. The victim was transported by Ambulance and the scene cleared a short time later. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.7.2008 Box 42-29 Dwelling Fire _______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 3:40 pm to a dwelling in Durham Township on Summit Lane for the report of a hot water heater fire. 5 Personnel responded in Engine 42, including Deputy Chief 42 and Lieutenants 42-1 and 42-3. 8 Personnel responded all together. Arriving on scene, personnel went interior to investigate an burning electric smell. It was determined that the hot water heater had shorted. The circuit was found and power disconnected. The thermal imaging camera showed that the danger was contained in the water heater. A fan was put in service to ventilate the home and the Engine returned to service a short time later. Tanker 40, Engine 49, and Ladder 49 also responded. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.2.2008 Box 47-50 Boiler Room Fire _______________________________________________________________________ Engine 42-1 was dispatched along with Tanker 47, HC 92-71, HC 92-72, Engine 47-1, Engine 48, Engine 48-1, and Ladder 49 to the River Valley School on Bridgeton Hill Road for a reported boiler room fire. The Engine was recalled almost immediately and the incident cleared. No apparatus left the station. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
