April 2009 Runs 12 4.3.2009 Box 42-23 Special Assignment ___________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched to assist the chief with clearing trees down on Fireline Road. The apparatus arrived on scene with a full crew to find that the trees had been removed. The apparatus and crew went available. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.4.2009 Box 42-21 Wires Call ___________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched to wires down on County Line Road near Dogwood Lane. The apparatus responded with a crew of 5. It was recalled en route. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.8.2009 Box 47-04 Chimney Fire ___________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 8:02 am to a residence on Chestnut Ridge Road in Bridgeton Township to assist Station 47 with a Chimney Fire. 5 Personnel responded. The incident cleared at 8:50 am ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.16.2009 Williams Township Auto Fire Assist ___________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 1:36 pm to assist with a car fire on Weiss Ave in Williams Township. 4 Personnel responded including Lieutenant 42. The apparatus was recalled before leaving the station. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.21.2009 Box 42-10 Auto Rescue ___________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 was dispatched at 12:12 am to a vehicle accident on Easton Road in the borough. The crew went into service to stabilize the vehicle and secure the victims. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.22.2009 Box Dwelling Fire ___________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 was dispatched at 7:15 am to a fire in Doylestown. Engine 42 responded and the crew went into service for manpower. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.26.2009 Box 42-32 Motorcycle Accident ___________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 was dispatched at 2:00 pm to a Motorcycle Accident on Route 611 near Lehnenburg Road. Station 42 EMTs worked to stabilize the patient for transport while firefighters secured and cleaned the scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.27.2009 Box 42-33 Medical Assist ___________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 was dispatched at 2:01 pm to a residence on Lake Warren Road in Bridgeton Township, to assist a victim suffering from seizures. Station 42 EMTs assisted in patient treatment until cleared from the scene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.27.2009 Box 47-03 Brush Fire ___________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 2:53 pm to a brush fire at Boarhead Farm on Lonely Cottage Road in Bridgeton Township. Engine 42 joined Engine 47, Engine 48, Engine 47-1, Tanker 49, Tactical 47, and Hunterdon County Engine 92-71. Engine 42 went on scene at 3:18 pm and assisted in fighting the fire which went under control at 3:28 pm. The incident cleared at 4:18 pm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.28.2009 Rescue Box 47-02 Auto Extrication ___________________________________________________________________ Rescue 42 was dispatched at 1:40 am along with Rescue 49 with station 47 for an accident with entrapment. Chief 47 arrived on scene with one vehicle into a pole and tree. Rescue 47 handled cribbing while Rescue 42's crew assisted with taking the roof and driver's side door. Rescue 49 was redirected to an LZ for landing the helicopter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.29.2009 Local Box 40-21 Truck Fire ___________________________________________________________________ Engine 42 was dispatched at 10:49 am with Station 40 for a truck fire. BCR advised Engine 40 that it was an RV that was on fire which struck a 500 gallon underground propane tank. Bucks radio also advised that there was exposure problems with a barn very close. Engine 42's crew arrived on scene and pulled a back up line off of Engine 40. After fire was knocked down gas company called to the scene. Call was made for a heavy tow truck to lift RV off propane tank, after RV was gone gas company and engines crews secured the leak. Engine went available at approx. 18:30 hrs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4.29.2009 Box 40-21 Building ___________________________________________________________________ Tanker 42 was dispatched minutes after the engine. 40 command dropped the box due to close exposures. A tanker task for was dispatched as well Tanker 42 was in the shuttle for approx. eight and a half hours. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
